Project Manager - Test Code Creation Team

Role Overview

The Project Manager (Project Coordinator level) will support and coordinate multiple ongoing projects within the Laboratory Technical Support – Test Code Creation team. This role is primarily focused on project coordination, tracking actions, managing timelines, and ensuring delivery across multiple parallel initiatives.

The successful candidate will act as a central point of coordination, working with cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track, risks are visible, and actions are completed on time. Strong organizational skills and practical project management experience are more important than deep scientific or laboratory expertise.

This is a 100% remote role, supporting a globally distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage multiple concurrent projects (10+ at a time), ensuring actions, owners, and timelines are clearly defined and followed up
  • Develop and maintain project plans, trackers, and documentation using standard project management tools
  • Organize and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, capturing actions, and following up on deliverables
  • Track project progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones; escalate issues as needed
  • Maintain project documentation, status reports, and dashboards to support transparency and decision‑making
  • Support basic risk assessment and mitigation tracking (no advanced Six Sigma or process mapping required)
  • Act as a coordination point between Laboratory teams, systems teams, and other stakeholders involved in test code creation
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to improve coordination, communication, and project flow
  • Ensure alignment with internal SOPs, policies, and timelines

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (any discipline; scientific background is a plus but not essential)
  • 1–2 years of experience in project management or project coordination
  • Experience managing timelines, actions, and deliverables across multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, changing environment

Technical & Tool Requirements

  • Experience using common project and collaboration tools such as:
    • Excel
    • SharePoint
    • Visio or Lucid
  • Ability to create and maintain project plans, trackers, and simple visual documentation

Nice to Have (Not Mandatory)

  • Exposure to laboratory, clinical, or scientific environments
  • Basic familiarity with project risk tracking or change coordination
  • Any exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement concepts (not required)
