The purpose of this role is to support the HR effectiveness strategy, deliver the global operational and change approach and support the successful implementation and embedding of HR transformation. This will include stakeholder management, appropriate and relevant HR effectiveness activities and other support.

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to manage of the global integration of Tag—dentsu’s second largest acquisition. The Project Manager ensures that objectives‑ are clearly defined, effectively planned, and delivered within agreed time, cost, scope, and quality parameters. This role is accountable for coordinating all workstreams (specifically but not limited to Workday HR, Payroll, Cornerstone, Finance) and interdependencies with the wider programme related to operating model and business alignment.
Working closely with the SteerCo, workstream leads, and other key stakeholders, the Project Manager provides day‑to‑day leadership across all aspects of project delivery. The role proactively manages risks, issues, dependencies, and change, ensuring the timely realization of project outcomes and the successful achievement of integration benefits.
Key accountabilities
- Project Leadership - Leads and directs the project team to deliver agreed outputs and outcomes within defined scope, time, cost, and quality constraints. Acts with integrity and professionalism, promoting ethical, legal, and socially responsible behaviour in all interactions with project stakeholders and team members.
- Budget and Cost Management - Manages project budget with Finance Manager, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting of costs. Controls expenditure, manages changes, and monitors actuals against approved budgets, escalating variances as appropriate.
- Risk and Issue Management - Identifies, monitors, and manages project risks (threats and opportunities) and issues. Develops mitigation plans, tracks actions, and escalates where appropriate. Works with related projects to manage interdependencies and shared risks.
- Governance and Decision‑Making - Establishes and maintains effective project governance and decision‑making structures. Defines clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities to support effective oversight and delivery.
- Project Planning and Controls - Develops, consolidates, and maintains core project documentation/plan, including scope, schedules, delivery approach, resource requirements, budgets, risks, issues, opportunities, and quality standards. Implements change control processes and ensures configuration documentation is kept up to date.
- Scheduling and Dependency Management - Develops and maintains detailed project schedules that account for dependencies, resource availability, and constraints. Identifies and maps interdependencies, assigns ownership, and embeds dependency management within governance processes. Works with cross-programme stakeholders to actively manage dependencies and resolve conflicts.
- Stakeholder and Communications Management - Identifies and manages key stakeholder relationships, taking account of influence, interests, and need for senior‑level engagement. Ensures effective and timely communication. Proactively manages internal and external relationships and works to resolve conflicts or differing priorities constructively.
What you will bring
- 5+ years managing large-scale projects ideally with a technology component
- Expertise in project management and frequented use of qualitative and quantitative analysis skills
- Experience driving end-to-end implementation activities including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, etc
- Strong and relevant track record of operating within large, matrixed global organisations, adept at collaborating with multiple levels of business and functional leaders to drive appropriate solutions
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-national environment with competing priorities and establish clarity when faced with uncertainty
- High level of operational focus, strong analytical skill, rigor and attention to detail
It would be nice to have:
- Workday implementation experience
- Project Management certification (E.g. PMP, CSM)
- Ideally experience working in an integration environment and familiarity with key integration deliverables (E.g. operating models, payrolls, integration plans, dependency logs and risk and issue trackers)

This is a permanent role. The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office twice a week.
