Project Manager, Strategy Execution

Toronto, Ontario Full time

The Opportunity

Dentalcorp is on a mission to deliver Frictionless Dentistry — enabled by clear priorities, disciplined execution, and the ability to consistently deliver and sustain results. The Project Manager, Strategy Execution (14-month contract) plays a key role in translating strategy into action by facilitating the delivery of high-impact initiatives across the organization.

This role sits at the center of execution, bringing clarity, alignment, and momentum to a portfolio of cross-functional initiatives. The focus is to ensure there is a clear path to delivery — with defined ownership, timelines, and priorities — so teams can execute with confidence and deliver intended outcomes.

You will partner closely with leaders and teams across the business to align stakeholders, clarify plans, and keep initiatives moving. You will surface risks early, remove barriers where possible, and ensure decisions translate into coordinated action. While you do not directly own delivery, you are accountable for enabling teams to perform by establishing structure, visibility, and follow-through.

If you are energized by working across teams, bringing clarity to complexity, and enabling execution in a fast-paced environment — this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Who You Are

You are an experienced project leader who is deeply interested in how strategy translates into measurable action. You bring structure to ambiguity and are skilled at turning direction into clear, actionable plans that teams can execute.

You build strong relationships and influence with credibility, working effectively with stakeholders from the front line to the executive level. You communicate clearly, ask the right questions, and are comfortable operating in environments where priorities evolve.

You are at your best when facilitating progress — ensuring ownership is clear, timelines are defined, and teams are set up to follow through on commitments. You bring a strong service mindset, high attention to detail, and a consistent approach to keeping work organized and moving forward.

You are motivated by impact, accountability, and continuous learning, and are interested in growing into broader leadership responsibilities over time.

The Impact You’ll Have

Reporting to the Director, Strategy Execution and based at the Toronto Support Centre, you will work across functions, leadership teams, and practices to support the consistent execution of priority initiatives.

Your impact will be seen in faster, more reliable delivery across teams. You will help ensure initiatives stay on track, risks are addressed early, and progress is clearly understood. You will make it easier for teams to execute by improving visibility, strengthening routines, and reinforcing consistent ways of working.

You will also support the adoption of changes by helping integrate new processes and approaches into day-to-day operations so they are sustained over time.

In This Role, You Will

  • Facilitate the delivery of strategic initiatives by establishing a clear path to execution — defining ownership, timelines, milestones, and dependencies across teams.

  • Drive cross-functional alignment by bringing together stakeholders, clarifying priorities, and ensuring teams are working toward shared outcomes.

  • Maintain momentum across initiatives by tracking progress, following up on commitments, and ensuring next steps are clearly defined and executed.

  • Surface risks, gaps, and trade-offs early, and work with stakeholders to resolve issues or escalate where needed to keep initiatives on track.

  • Enable teams to deliver by creating structure, visibility, and accountability — ensuring decisions translate into coordinated action across functions.

  • Support strategy enablement by translating high-level priorities into clear plans, tracking progress against goals, and ensuring initiatives remain aligned to intended outcomes.

  • Apply business analysis to clarify requirements, define scope, and ensure initiatives are grounded in clear problem statements and practical solutions.

  • Identify opportunities to improve how work gets done by analyzing workflows, removing inefficiencies, and supporting the design of simpler, more effective processes.

  • Lead change enablement by supporting communication, training, and performance tracking to ensure new processes and ways of working are adopted and sustained.

  • Provide clear visibility into progress, risks, and outcomes through structured updates, dashboards, and reporting to support informed decision-making.

  • Strengthen execution discipline by reinforcing consistent routines, improving tracking, and supporting teams in following through on commitments.

  • Contribute to building and scaling the Strategy Execution function by improving tools, templates, and ways of working that increase consistency and efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.

  • Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP), Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt), or Change Management (e.g., PROSCI) is required.

  • 4–7 years of experience in project management, strategy execution, business analysis, or operations within a complex, cross-functional environment.

  • Proven ability to lead initiatives by aligning stakeholders, clarifying plans, and maintaining momentum — especially when ownership spans multiple teams.

  • Strong ability to bring structure to ambiguity by turning high-level direction into clear, actionable plans with defined ownership and timelines.

  • Experience working with data to track progress, identify issues, and support decision-making; comfortable using Excel and dashboards to create clear visibility.

  • Solid business analysis skills, including defining scope, clarifying requirements, and ensuring work is grounded in clear problem statements.

  • Practical experience improving workflows or processes by identifying inefficiencies and helping teams implement simpler, more effective ways of working.

  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at different levels and drive alignment across functions.

  • Experience supporting change initiatives, including helping teams adopt new processes, tools, or ways of working.

  • High attention to detail and a strong commitment to data accuracy and follow-through.

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities, and able to adapt while keeping work organized and on track.

  • Bilingualism in French and English is considered an asset.
