Project Manager - Sales Operations

Base Pay Range:

$85,000.00 - $95,000.00/ Year

As a Sales Operations Project Manager, your essential job functions will include the following:

Project Management & Coordination

  • Coordinate large-scale sales projects or initiatives, ensuring a clear definition of scope, deliverables, ownership, and timelines.

  • Translate high-level project objectives into structured work plans, including milestones, dependencies, action items, and tracking mechanisms.

  • Partner with build teams to align on sequencing, workload, and prioritization.

  • Proactively identify dependencies, risks, and potential blockers; facilitate alignment and resolution to maintain project momentum.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status updates, communication logs, and decision records.

  • Establish and maintain effective communication within the team and applicable stakeholders to ensure completion of deliverables and milestones.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related inquiries and issue resolution, escalating as appropriate.

  • Facilitate group meetings in support of project planning, implementation, and execution.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership, Field Development Manager, and Sales Development Managers teams to coordinate change management efforts, including stakeholder communication, transition planning, and adoption support.

  • Present incoming and ongoing projects to leadership in a clear and organized manner, enabling the leadership team to make informed decisions on project prioritization.

  • Support change management efforts by helping prepare the field for new tools and processes, including communication, rollout planning, and adoption support.

Operational Support & Coordination

  • Contribute to the development and coordination of recurring weekly, monthly, and quarterly leadership communications by gathering qualitative and quantitative inputs, synthesizing key insights, consolidating feedback, and assisting with the crafting of clear, structured summaries/presentations (e.g., executive summaries, board materials, sales meeting updates).

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including Program Management, Marketing, HR, and other departments, to plan meetings, align presentation components, and ensure readiness of deliverables.

  • Monitor and track action items, deadlines, and follow-ups across recurring departmental initiatives to ensure timely execution and accountability.

  • Support drafting content, organizing supporting materials, and ensuring alignment of messaging across key stakeholders.

  • Manage logistical and operational aspects of recurring initiatives, ensuring smooth execution.

  • Contribute to documentation, organization, and improvement of repeatable project workflows.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management, or related fields; PMP certification is a plus.

  • 4-6 years’ experience in an operations role.

  • 2+ years of project management experience.

  • Automotive industry experience a plus.

  • High level of attention to detail.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build relationships.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities.

  • Ability to run meetings, document actions, and maintain trackers.

Physical Job Requirements

  • Continuous viewing from and inputting to a computer screen.

  • Sitting for long periods of time.

  • Travel as necessary, <10%.
