What is the opportunity?

The Senior Project Manager manages or assists in the management, planning, organization and implementation of IT projects. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.

Provides dedicated oversight and coordination for complex IT initiatives requiring specialized project management expertise and methodologies. Ensures consistent application of project management best practices, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder communication protocols across technology deliverables. Leverages comprehensive understanding of IT project lifecycles, resource allocation, and change management to deliver strategic technology initiatives on time and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining focus on project objectives.

What will you do?

  • Ensures effective communication flow among business process owners, project team members and all IT functions who participate and impact the results of the project development effort.

  • Serve as app custodian delegate, maintaining oversight of application lifecycle management, access controls, and compliance requirements

  • Coordinate with application owners to ensure proper documentation, change management, and risk assessment protocols are followed

  • Process Change request/Incident approvals, ensuring timely review and authorization of system changes and enhancements

  • Manage invoice submission workflows, including vendor payment processing, expense validation, and budget tracking coordination

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings across multiple stakeholder groups, managing complex calendars and ensuring optimal resource utilization

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between business units, technology teams, and external vendors

  • Function as Scrum Master for global operations and engineering team facilitating sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint reviews

  • Execute ad hoc reporting requests, analyzing operational data to support business decision-making

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for key performance indicators and operational metrics

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or other related discipline along with 2+ years PM experience

  • Hands on experience working as a Scrum Master

  • Excellent data analysis skills

  • Advanced excel skills including working with Macros, Vlookups, pivot tables and running complex queries

  • CSM or PSM certification

Nice to have:

  • Capital markets domain experience

  • Experience working with Confluence, Jira

  • CAPM exam completion
