What You’ll be Doing
The Project Management Specialist serves as a recognized subject matter expert, responsible for leading large-scale, high-impact projects that are critical to the organization’s strategic goals. This role operates with significant autonomy, navigating often-complex business obstacles and ensuring that multi-faceted initiatives—including business transformations and vendor integrations—are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the planning and execution of large, interrelated projects, defining resource requirements, individual responsibilities, and integrated schedules.
  • Expert Problem Solving: Identify and resolve highly complex technical or procedural obstacles, utilizing advanced business knowledge to mitigate risks before they impact project health.
  • Quality & Compliance: Champion internal and external quality standards (e.g., ISO) across all project phases, ensuring deliverables meet rigorous organizational benchmarks.
  • Mentorship & Delegation: Serve as a lead mentor to P-level colleagues by reviewing work quality, coaching on best practices, and strategically delegating tasks to optimize team performance.
  • Cross-functional team coordination

What You Will Bring to the Team

  • Min 5 years of experience in Project Management / Product Management / Program Management
  • Deep expertise in Project Management frameworks and business processes.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale projects with minimal management oversight.
  • Advanced ability to translate complex problems into actionable solutions.
  • Typically requires advanced education and significant professional experience in a senior-level capacity.
  • Go to marketing (GTM) related experience is a plus

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $125K to $145K Expected on-target earnings: $140K to $165K

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
