The Project Manager is responsible for managing the Service Provider Network. This unique position includes growing and aligning our current network with our International Growth Strategy. This role involves working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and ensuring coverage of service providers are strategically positioned globally to increase operational fleet readiness for all foreign and domestic customers.

Additionally, this role will include planning, leading, and executing medium to large-scale projects from initiation through closeout, ensuring alignment with business objectives, stakeholder expectations, and (where applicable) government contract and regulatory requirements.

Onboard Service Providers

  • Identify, select, and onboard service providers based on project scope, contractual requirements, success criteria, and deliverables in collaboration with various stakeholders.
  • Understanding foreign trade regulations, legal frameworks, and compliance standards for labor laws, importing and exporting goods, etc.
  • Effective risk mitigation by effectively soliciting and negotiating rates and costs with potential and existing service providers
  • Exceptional oral communication and virtual skills using PowerPoints, Visio, and Excel graphs or charts to aid in navigating language barriers during in person and virtual meetings.
  • Familiarity in automotive or military vehicle maintenance service activities.
  • Perform audits, provide feedback, and proactively identify and resolve issues, risks, and conflicts.
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity while working with diverse working practices, communication styles, and cultural nuances.
  • Implement corrective actions when performance deviates from plan.
  • Ensure successful project closure, validating all deliverables and outcomes.

Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Lead and brief cross-functional teams from Warranty, Contracts, Subcontracts, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, IT, Finance, and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for customers and service providers on projects that require service providers.
  • Facilitate effective communication across internal teams, suppliers, customers, and executive stakeholders.
  • Prepare and deliver status updates, reports, and briefings to stakeholders, including government customers.

Monitoring, Compliance & Documentation

  • Monitor progress using Scorecards, KPIs, earned value metrics (EVM), dashboards, and tracking tools.
  • Strong background in data analytics used to develop reports, charts, spreadsheets, and dashboards (Excel & Power BI)
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, risk registers, status reports, issue logs, and performance summaries.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and applicable regulations (e.g., ISO, IATF 16949, FAR/DFARS).
  • Support internal/external audits and manage scope change requests in coordination with contracts and legal teams.

Risk, Quality, & Process Management

  • Identify and mitigate project risks; manage scope changes and implement change control procedures.
  • Monitor adherence to quality and technical requirements.
  • Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

Support & Development

  • Support proposal development and cost estimation efforts for new opportunities.
  • Monitor junior team members and contribute to the development of PMO tools, templates, and best practices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and three (3) or more years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the essential functions of the role.
  • Ability to travel up to 15%

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS

  • PMP or CAPM certification.
  • Experience in government or defense contracting; familiarity with FAR/DFARS.
  • Proficient with Smartsheet, Primavera P6, Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian tools.
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, macros, VBA) and reporting experience with Power BI or Tableau.
  • Knowledge in E1 and/or ERP systems
  • Strong background in data analytics used to develop reports, charts, spreadsheets, and dashboards (Excel & Power BI)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or CMMI frameworks.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complete project lifecycles.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SharePoint.
  • Ability to travel as needed.

Pay Range:

$82,900.00 - $134,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
