Cencora Pharmalex is one of the leading service providers for the Pharmaceutical Industry globally and is specialized in all aspects of drugs and medical devices approval, of the market development and any action of effective product maintenance.

Cencora Pharmalex are looking for a Project Manager for the APAC region to be based in the Philippines.

The Project Manager is accountable for the day‑to‑day delivery of cross‑functional projects and serves as the primary contact for client status, performance, risks, and escalations. The role ensures governance is in place, standards and workflows are applied, KPIs are defined and reported, and budgets, staffing, and onboarding are executed to plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Project operational oversight:
    • Project governance (agendas, decision logs, etc), maintaining scope, schedule, risk/issue registers, and change control.
    • Serve as the single point of contact to the client for delivery status and performance topics; ensure audit readiness and adherence to internal and client standards/SOPs.
    • Prepare clear, actionable mitigation plans for emerging risks and issues; track to closure through governance.
    • Report to leadership team as required.

  • Project budget management:
    • Manage the project budget and forecast, track variances and initiate change orders where appropriate.

  • Project staffing and team management:
    • Define roles and secure capacity across the region.
    • Provide day‑to‑day direction to assigned project staff, set priorities/milestones, and support performance feedback loops in partnership with line managers.

  • Oversight of project onboarding process:
    • Own the onboarding checklist and schedule for new team members (tools/access, client/process training, quality gates); ensure onboarding tasks are planned as explicit project activities when required.
    • Coordinate client‑specific onboarding/training activities.

  • KPI supervision and reporting:
    • Oversight of KPIs defined in the contract (timeliness, quality, efficiency, budget adherence, escalation responsiveness); report to leadership team as per defined project governance structure.
    • Drive continuous improvement based on KPI.

  • Notification and resolution of escalated issues related to operational deliverables:
    • Own the escalation pathway (client & internal), ensuring timely notification, structured root‑cause analysis, and verified corrective/preventive actions.

Education:

  • The candidate should have a scientific degree in a relevant subject.
  • Masters degree is desirable

Experience:

  • Previous experience in Project Management.
  • Ideally at least 8-10 years of experience.
