Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in mission-critical infrastructure, specifically data centers, power systems, or industrial plants.


You will lead high-value, technically complex projects involving electrical power supply, mechanical systems, backup power, and commissioning, ensuring safe, reliable, and on-time delivery.


This role is ideal for candidates with proven experience managing large-scale EPC/design-build projects and coordinating multi-disciplinary engineering and vendor teams.


What you will be doing:

  • Lead full lifecycle execution of mission-critical/data center projects ranging from multi-million USD values, managing scope, schedule, budget, and risk with precision.
  • Oversee engineering design reviews and ensure compliance with technical standards, local regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
  • Manage complex procurement cycles including RFP generation, bid evaluation, commercial negotiation, and supplier delivery performance.
  • Direct and coordinate internal engineering teams (electrical, mechanical, controls), external EPC partners, subcontractors, and specialist vendors.
  • Provide hands-on oversight during installation, system integration, testing, FAT/SAT, and commissioning of power systems and associated infrastructure.
  • Maintain a high level of customer engagement, providing progress reporting, escalation management, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the project.
  • Drive stringent HSE performance, enforcing Zero Harm standards and monitoring safe practices at all project sites.
  • Identify risks, develop mitigation and recovery plans, and ensure project governance through structured reporting to senior leadership.

Position requirements:

  • Minimum 7–10 years of proven project management experience in data centers, mission-critical facilities, EPC power systems, or industrial infrastructure. General construction-only profiles will not be considered.
  • Demonstrated success delivering large-scale projects (>USD [insert value] million) involving complex electrical/mechanical systems and commissioning activities.
  • Strong technical understanding of HV/LV electrical systems, power generation, UPS/gensets, cooling systems, mechanical services, or controls/automation.
  • Expertise in detailed project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk control, and contract management.
  • Hands-on experience supervising site activities, including installation, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience leading cross-functional teams and managing customers at senior levels.
  • Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Power Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Proficient in English; skilled with MS Office, AutoCAD, SAP, and project scheduling tools (MS Project/Primavera).

Preferred Requirements

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with EPC or design-build delivery models.
  • Experience with mission-critical sectors such as:
    • Data centers
    • Power generation plants
    • Industrial automation facilities
    • Backup of power or energy systems
    • Marine or infrastructure projects
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proven leadership in high-pressure, deadline-critical environments.
