Responsibilities

 

• Investment and repair projects: Planning and execution of investment and repair projects in Germany and abroad in the field of automation technology, efficiently and cost-consciously

• Representation in committees: Representing the department in external and regulatory committees as well as monitoring the market and maintaining contacts with suppliers

• Asset life cycle: Achieving optimal solutions throughout the asset life cycle of Evonik production plants

Requirements

 

• Education: Completed Master’s degree in Automation Engineering

• Expertise: Knowledge in automation technology within the process industry (field device technology including sensors and actuators, automation systems, process control systems and safety systems, project management)

• Languages: Excellent German and English skills as well as strong intercultural competence

• Strengths: Customer-oriented approach, sense of responsibility, and a high level of initiative

• Soft Skills: Team spirit, flexible working approach, communication and collaboration skills

• Mobility: Willingness for international mobility and travel
