We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager who will assist in leading and overseeing aspects of project execution from initiation through completion on a facilities projects. This includes assisting in developing detailed project plans, managing resources, maintaining budgets and schedules, and ensuring that deliverables meet contractual and stakeholder requirements. The ideal candidate brings plenty of energy and a willingness to learn, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach to risk management and continuous improvement.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing project plans that define scope, schedule, resources needed for a facilities project.
- Prepare and revise 2D and 3D technical drawings, schematics, and models using CAD software.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and notes to develop detailed technical drawings for mechanical, electrical, structural, facility applications.
- Assist engineers and cross-functional team members to clarify design intent
- Participate in cross-functional project teams and ensure alignment across technical, operational, and client-facing roles.
- Monitor and track progress using project management tools.
- Assist in managing and reporting on project budgets, timelines, milestones, and contractual deliverables.
- Disseminate project status to project stakeholders and end users.
- Assist in developing project status reports.
- Assist in identify risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle and assist in developing effective mitigation plans.
- Participate in post-project evaluations, lessons learned sessions, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Basic Qualifications
- TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required
- Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience, or additional years of experience in lieu of degree
- Experience in project management and facilities infrastructure related work.
- Familiarity in project planning, resource management, risk management, and budget oversight.
- Participate in cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
- Experience tracking progress toward project goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills..
- Ability to make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Working knowledge of change management strategies and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with file and data management
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Archibus.
- Familiarity with federal contracting environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of change management practices and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Agile, or Lean Six Sigma are beneficial but not required.

Pay Range $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
