Position Description:

The University of Louisville (UofL) seeks a qualified Project Manager III to assist with the activities with a Cybersecurity grant –based on funding designated 2025-2027.

This position is a full-time grant funded, benefited position that continues based on grant/contract funding.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proficient in project management/program management, planning/coordinating.

  • Ability to communicate within a fast-paced, high-performance level environment with excellent oral, written and virtual presentation capability to forward grant initiatives.

  • Proficient with documenting outbound calls, meetings and arrange collaboration, grant project management.

  • Demonstrated experience of successfully coordinating, following directions and documenting information for a diverse team.

  • Willingness to work collaboratively with project partners, faculty, students, and staff on this NACE grant project.

  • Proficient setting up Microsoft forms and other related automation forms to streamline efficiency. Smartsheet proficiency is a plus or fluent use of project management software tools.

  • Attention to detail in entering reporting data as well as harvesting data and/or setting reporting data streams.

  • Proofread documents, create/review documents and informational communication, assist in their preparation, as well as tracking.​

  • Experience working with project management and willingness to take initiative/be proactive.

  • Outgoing results oriented.

  • Experience working with cross collaborative teams and detail oriented.

  • Experience as being a spokesperson for an entity.

  • Attention to detail and follow up. High level phone skills/communication skills.

  • Project Management skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to stewarding resources and negotiating deliverables.

  • Ability to work within prepared position guidelines but agile enough to seize opportunities unique to the program offerings and meet individual needs for students.

  • Demonstrated commitment to issues of equity, social justice, diversity, supporting teams from multicultural communities and backgrounds.

Competencies

  • Project coordination: Able to coordinate multiple project stakeholders, both internal and external, involved in the Program.

  • Proficiency in Project management software, Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access, Project management is a plus).

  • Independent decision-making individual weighing time/energy/effort vs net results.

Target Compensation Maximum:

$100,553.00

Target Compensation Minimum:

$67,035.00

Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
