Project Manager II, Workplace Experience – India

Overview
Workplace Experience (WX) at Mastercard is a strategic COE under the People & Capability function that works to create empowering, scalable and consistent physical, digital and human experiences that enable a high-performance culture at our workplaces globally. The team integrates Mastercard’s people strategy with the places, tools, and ways of working at our offices, through data led-insights, standardized frameworks and cross-functional, cross-location collaboration and governance.

Role:
Reporting to the Director, Workplace Experience, India, the Project Manager, Workplace Experience – India is accountable for end to end delivery of WX projects, initiatives, and activations across India. The role will also have a dotted line reporting to the Vice President, Workplace Experience Optimization and will support in how WX enables global location strategy and future of work at Mastercard.

Key Accountabilities:
• Project management:
o Own end to end project management of Workplace Experience initiatives, including local, regional and global projects - from planning through execution and closure.
o Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and outcomes across multiple concurrent workstreams.
o Partner with cross functional and site teams to source, curate, and validate data related to WX initiatives.
o Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into progress, impact, and risks.
• Building playbooks and scalable delivery:
o Support creation, management, and rollout of WX playbooks for initiatives and activations.
o Drive adoption of playbooks across India sites, ensuring global consistency with local relevance.
o Capture learnings and continuously improve delivery models.
• Executing WX activations:
o Manage and execute WX led regional and global activations aimed at engaging employees, communities and partners.
o Manage local tech-hub wide townhalls, support on fireside chats, hackathons, and other activations where WX is consulting or supporting.
o Work closely with RES, P&C, EDE, Tech, Communications, Security, Legal, Finance, Sourcing, Site Leadership as well as Employee Led Groups (ERGs etc.) to enable seamless execution.
• Supporting location strategy:
o Help execute on location strategy in India with direction from the global strategy and roadmap.
o Collate, curate, analyze and report relevant data and insights on a timely basis, working with teams across functions and locations.
• Governance & Operating Rhythm
o Help manage WX governance frameworks, including leadership cadence, reviews, and execution tracking.
o Track decisions, milestones, and action items; drive follow through and accountability across stakeholders.
o Prepare structured materials and updates for leadership forums.
• Regional & Global Collaboration:
o Partner with AP and global WX teams on shared priorities, pilots, and scalable programs.
o Support localization and rollout of global initiatives within India.
o Contribute to best practice sharing across regions.


All About You
 Proven experience in project or program management, ideally within Workplace Experience, real estate, people & capability, facilities, employee experience, or large scale corporate programs.
 Experience managing cross-functional projects effectively and efficiently.
 Strong execution mindset with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives in parallel.
 Comfortable operating in a highly matrixed, multi location environment.
 Data literate, with experience using dashboards and reporting to drive decisions.
 Clear, confident communicator with good presentation skills and strong stakeholder management skills.
 Detail oriented, structured, and proactive—able to turn strategy into measurable outcomes.
