The opportunity

How you’ll make an impact

  • You will lead and manage the full lifecycle of projects, from initiation through delivery and site installation also coordinate with customers to confirm specifications, adjust delivery schedules, and ensure alignment on project plans.

  • You will facilitate internal meetings with project members and customer representatives as needed and manage internal escalations such as price negotiations or specification changes, including pre-approval processes.

  • You will provide regular project status updates to customers, including progress (QDC), issue resolution, and planning proposals also ensure transparent communication and mutual understanding to prevent misalignment or unresolved issues.

  • You will present project status, including WBS progress, cost performance, and issue resolution strategies, to management.

  • You will identify project risks across teams and maintain a risk management sheet with regular reviews and manage each risk item and monitor resolution progress also review and escalate critical issues to management with documented proposals and stakeholder input.

  • You will collect budget plans and actual performance data from each team and analyze gaps and propose improvement measures where necessary also manage additional pricing proposals resulting from customer requirement changes.

  • You will execute procurement and logistics procedures in alignment with project timelines and requirements.

  • You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in a related industry.

  • Strong customer relationship management and communication skills, excellent coordination and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively also problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with sound judgment on escalation.

  • Hitachi Energy PM certification or equivalent, experience in high-voltage equipment or infrastructure projects and familiarity with international project environments and cross-functional teams.

  • Fluent speaking, writing and reading in Japanese.

  • Business level in spoken and written English.
