Key Responsibilities
Lead all phases of capital project execution from inception through commissioning and production.
Oversee project portfolio to ensure successful delivery aligned with Front-End Loading (FEL) and gated project processes.
Manage projects introducing significant process modifications, requiring large capital expenditures and specialized expertise.
Apply best practice tools for project execution, including:
Cost control and schedule compliance
Change order management
Quality Management and Construction Management
Materials Management
Start-up, testing, and commissioning of industrial systems
Coordinate reviews, approvals, and stakeholder communication with well-documented processes.
Ensure technical and financial compliance of all deliverables.
Qualifications
Proven ability to work with diverse teams, including executive leadership, hourly workforce, and technical departments.
Strong understanding of capital project execution best practices.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight timelines.
Skills in negotiation, problem-solving, project/change management, and team building.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
High level of autonomy and accountability.
Experience in global matrix organizations and cross-functional teams.
International mindset and ability to work with global manufacturing operations.
Education: Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or Civil Engineering from an accredited university is preferred.
Certification: Professional Engineering and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) registration is highly preferred.
Experience: This position requires 8+ years of relevant experience in engineering and project management.
