About the Role
For our new Energy business unit, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead the deployment and management of different renewable energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the integral management of the Project ensuring compliance of the project in terms of budget, time and quality, including managing the selected EPC and any subcontractors.
Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team to ensure that all goals of the project from technical to financial ones are reached.
Manage the day-to-day activities of the owner’s engineering team responsible for the engineering construction, and commissioning supervision.
Manage all relationships with the Interconnection Agreement counterparties to make sure that interconnection facilities are completed on time.
Establish and maintain relationships with all project stakeholders (internal and external) , including investors, off takers, government agencies and community groups, to maintain positive relationships and ensure project success.
Navigate the permitting process, ensuring all local, state, and federal regulations are met and ensuring compliance with all the permits, licenses and authorizations.
Coordinate with financing teams duties related with the financing and tax equity rising. This role includes managing the relationship with the Lenders Technical Advisors.
Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Lead the project planning and execution, ensuring it meets contractual obligations, financial budgets, and compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Coordinate with vendors, external stakeholders, and internal teams to align project objectives with business goals and ensure seamless communication and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage the construction and operational phases of the energy infrastructure construction, including financial management and resolution of technical challenges.
Develop and manage the project budget, schedules, and resources, reporting regularly on project status and adjustments needed to senior management.
Oversee the selection and management of suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors involved in project execution.
Foster a culture of Health, Safety & Environment by leading the project management function with awareness, measurable metrics / KPIs and focus on continuous improvement in HSE matters.
Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Education and Required Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; Project Management certifications or graduate degree highly valued.
10+ years’ experience in renewable energy projects.
Experience in EPC, consulting, or turnkey solutions/services.
Hands-on knowledge of estimating, budgeting, construction, and reporting.
Experience in multinational/multicultural environments highly valued.
Understanding of PPAs and interconnection processes in the US.
Knowledge of solar technologies, PV systems, energy storage, electrical systems, and grid integration.
Familiarity with construction dynamics and required documentation for solar farms.
Strong network of preferred suppliers for all project phases.
