What You’ll Do
Lead terminal design and planning projects from concept development through design delivery, ensuring alignment with airport goals, operational needs, and passenger experience standards.
Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality, with a focus on coordinating architectural, engineering, and specialty design disciplines.
Serve as the primary on-site liaison at Terminal C, fostering close collaboration with airport authority representatives, terminal operators, airline stakeholders, and partner consultants.
Coordinate terminal planning efforts, including passenger flow analysis, space planning, baggage systems considerations, security checkpoint programming, and functional layout development.
Oversee design deliverables, ensuring technical accuracy, consistency with airport guidelines, and smooth integration across all terminal systems.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops, design charrettes, and progress meetings, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Support procurement, proposal development, and strategic pursuits for terminal and facilities projects across the region.
Represent TYLin at industry and airport-planning forums to strengthen relationships and advance our aviation presence.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Aviation Planning, Construction Management, or related field.
Significant experience in terminal planning, terminal design, facilities development, or aviation project management.
Strong understanding of airport terminal operations, functional planning, and multidisciplinary design coordination.
Experience working with airport authorities, airlines, or terminal operators—preferably within large or complex terminal environments.
Familiarity with FAA design standards, airport planning processes, building codes, and public-sector procurement is beneficial.
Professional certifications (PE, AIA, RA, PMP, CCM) are advantages but not required.
Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic airport environment.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting while maintaining a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $120,000 - $170,000 annually for this position and local market.
