Based in St-Hubert, the Project Manager will play a key role in delivering the major Bedford project, a transformative initiative that is directly aligned with the organization’s long‑term strategy.

 

As the orchestrator of complex projects, the Project Manager leads multidisciplinary teams and ensures full project governance, including budgets, schedules, resources, deliverables, and overall performance. This role is responsible for the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of projects, while continuously ensuring alignment with operational needs, business priorities, and defined scope.

 

Working closely with key stakeholders including operations teams, support functions, governance committees, and the VRO you play a strategic role in creating value for the organization. Your ability to prioritize initiatives, structure decision‑making, and ensure clear and proactive communication will be critical to project success and the achievement of business objectives.

  • Salary scale 006: $100,900 to $126,100 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job‑related competencies.)

 

 

What you will put into action:

 

  • Develop, maintain, and execute detailed plans for critical projects, including cross‑functional start‑ups

  • Manage and coordinate internal and external resources, including third‑party vendors and suppliers, for project execution

  • Provide vision and direction to cross‑functional teams and all stakeholders throughout the duration of projects

  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, in close collaboration with the Engineering team

  • As a member of the Strategic Operations team, participate in all required meetings including daily alignment sessions to ensure risks and/or constraints are promptly escalated

  • Manage a portfolio of complex initiatives and projects spanning one or multiple business sectors

  • Master the full project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery from launch through full implementation and deployment

  • Understand the interdependencies between technology, operations, and the business plan

  • Maintain continuous communication with project managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to keep them informed of objectives, context, scope, timelines, requirements, and critical project issues

  • Work closely with the Engineering team to develop project budgets and obtain formal project approvals

  • Create, design, test, train, and document information to ensure proper system configuration and project success

  • Identify potential project risks and develop/implement mitigation strategies to minimize impact and control deviations from estimated costs and schedules

  • Monitor and track project milestones and deliverables

 

 

The profile that excels in execution:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field

  • Minimum of five (5) years of project management experience

  • Experience in the food or manufacturing sector

  • PMP certification

  • Availability to travel to the Bedford site approximately 25% of the time

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English(English is required to collaborate with colleagues in other Canadian provinces.)
