The Project Management Specialist will drive program coordination and project execution to integrate Parts Management into Production Control & Materials Management across BDS and support the stand‑up of a consolidated Production Control organization. This individual contributor role blends program management, process support, data reporting, and limited administrative support to ensure aligned priorities, clear decision forums, and timely execution of integration and org‑alignment activities. The selected candidate can work from any major Boeing site, but will be required to travel occasionally to others. This position will support multiple sites across the Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration & Implementation Support

  • Serve as the primary program coordinator for the Parts Management integration into Production Control & Materials Management: maintain milestones, dependencies, risk logs, and action item ownership.
  • Support stand‑up activities for the Production Control organization, including task sequencing, role alignment coordination, and process rollout support.

Project Management & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain project plans, trackers, and executive dashboards that surface schedule status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional meetings and decision forums (material review boards, production reviews); capture outcomes, assign action items, and drive closure.

 Business Operations & Process Improvement

  • Document production and materials workflows, identify gaps, and support implementation of process improvements to increase reliability and throughput.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Facilities, and IT to remove blockers and align priorities.

Reviews & Event Coordination

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Finance, Facilities, and IT to remove blockers and align priorities.

Executive Support

  • Provide executive support as needed: arrange complex travel, reconcile expenses, coordinate prioritized calendars for program leads, and prepare concise communications.
  • Draft and edit status reports, briefings, and stakeholder communications that summarize issues, recommendations, and next steps.

Data & Tools

  • Maintain program metrics and produce concise status reporting and presentations for leadership.
  • Support adoption and effective use of enterprise systems and collaboration tools required for program execution.

Basic/Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in project coordination, operations, or program support with exposure to cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain project plans, trackers, and dashboards.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize complex information into concise status updates and recommended next steps.
  • Proficiency with calendar systems and collaboration tools (`Outlook/Exchange`, `Teams`) and Microsoft Office (`Excel`, `PowerPoint`) or Google Workspace.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands, work independently, and escalate appropriately.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production control, supply chain, or materials management teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as `SAP` and corporate travel/expense tools .
  • Experience with organizational alignment, change management, or business transformation activities.
  • Familiarity with data visualization/dashboard tools (Power BI, Tableau) and basic data analysis skills.
  • Event planning experience for technical reviews and senior cross‑functional forums.

Position may require travel up to 30% of the time.
