Responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project related activities and resources.
As a Lead Project Management Specialist - Project Leadership, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all planning, leading, organizing and motivating the cross-functional project team working on Machinery Monitoring Systems.
- Achieving on-time, on-budget and on-quality level of performance while delivering end-to-end projects that provide exceptional execution performance.
- Acting as a primary customer contact for the duration of each project from purchase order receipt through project execution and delivery, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Managing and reporting all financial aspects of the project including budgets, costs, margin, invoicing, and receivable collection while providing estimate-at-completion forecasts
- Developing and maintaining project schedule and critical control points through collaboration across all functions on major milestones and task completion dates.
- Providing daily engagement, leadership and direction to other functions within the project team to ensure an alignment on project goals and deliverables for project success
- Implementing continuous improvement for processes impacting the organization by developing and suggesting enhancements while maintaining productivity and efficiency.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in any “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
- Have experience managing multiple projects (>10) simultaneously within an environment like ours, for at leat 10 years.
- Be well organized and analytical, with experience managing budgets and cost control using SAP or other enterprise software.
- Have a natural ability to engage, present and build trusted relationships with customer and senior stakeholders
- Be able to fluently communicate in English and Portuguese, working within a multicultural organization. Spanish is a desirable qualification.
- Have PMP certification.
- Have at least 5 years of experience within the Mining industry.
