Project management is a critical and core role in GE HealthCare equipment deployment, revenue planning, and customer satisfaction. At GE HealthCare, customer experience, confidence, and satisfaction are our prime focus making the project manager role critical for company’s success.

As a Project Management Apprentice, you will be responsible for project delivery throughout its lifecycle, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through good planning, communication, resource, and risk management.

This role offers the opportunity to join the GE HealthCare Operations team, where you will gain hands‑on experience in project management while working directly with GE HealthCare professionals and customers. As a Project Management Apprentice, you will develop a solid understanding of standard operational and technical tasks, performing them in alignment with GE HealthCare guidelines.


 

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the GE HealthCare team to manage end‑to‑end deployment projects for hospital equipment and IT solutions, primarily in anesthesia & intensive care, diagnostic cardiology, and neonatology.

  • Planning and managing project resources (directly or indirectly) for small to medium‑sized projects involving equipment‑only deliveries, product suites, or supplier coordination.

  • Leading project activities within defined frameworks, resolving issues using technical knowledge and established procedures.

  • Appling a foundational understanding of IT, healthcare equipment connectivity, and software deployment to support implementation strategies.

  • Estimating project timelines and assessing risks to support accurate planning.

  • Continuously expanding technical knowledge to meet project, policy, and strategic needs

  • Communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders, providing updates and reporting to the management team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Active student status at a technical university (preferred fields: biomedical engineering, electronics; other technical majors also considered).

  • Basic experience in project management, ideally within healthcare or IT, with an understanding of project management fundamentals and lifecycle.

  • Knowledge of network fundamentals, including protocols, server environments, and desktop environments.

  • Ability to learn new technical concepts quickly and apply them in project contexts.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.

  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple activities simultaneously.

  • Fluency in English and Polish.

  • Willingness to travel frequently for business needs.

Pay Range

For Poland based positions, Annual Salary Range: To be provided prior to the interview or at the offer discussion stage

Placement within the range depends on:

  • Relevant skills and qualifications

  • Prior job-related experience

  • Internal equity considerations (alignment with colleagues in similar roles) e.t.c.
