Decathlon’s Data & (Gen)AI Center of Expertise, made up of more than 200 teammates, supports and guides the entire organization in the “AI First for All” movement, by making Data and (Gen)AI technologies accessible so that each team can locally create AI-powered solutions. Within this department, we offer you the opportunity to join the “Adoption & Experience” team as a Project Leader, to support the team while ensuring compliance with standards, a clear governance framework, and the proper integration of use cases with technological systems. 

The position is based at Decathlon Campus (Villeneuve d’Ascq) or in Paris. 

Role Summary 

Reporting to the Operation & Activation team, you will act as the strategic project orchestrator for internal data platform, digital and business domains. Your mission is to manage end-to-end data initiatives, coordinating resources to ensure that teams achieve their target Time-to-Value without execution risks. Beyond pure project management, you will also act as the methodological pillar of the team (Scrum Master mindset), ensuring agile delivery, team coherence, and smooth operational rituals.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Lead the creation of a Data & AI CRM: Drive the implementation of a new centralized CRM dedicated to internal user profiling. 
  • Standardize platform communications: Drive the standardization and synchronization of mailing lists across the entire platform to transform our communication from simple noise into true value.
  • Structure documentation for AI and users: Coordinate the structuring of our central knowledge base (UserDoc), ensuring that the content is not only centralized for human users but also structured for agentic re-exposure (feeding our autonomous AI agents).
  • Create and manage key platform events: Organize major Data Platform synchronization events, such as the unified QSR (Quarterly Strategic/Service Review), to align stakeholders and showcase platform value.
  • Animate team rituals & methodology: Act with a "Scrum Master" hat to manage team rituals, uphold agile methodologies, and ensure the overall coherence, efficiency, and well-being of the team.
  • Orchestrate complex initiatives: Manage end-to-end data initiatives by rigorously controlling costs, delivery deadlines, and overall solution quality, ensuring a seamless experience for our users.
  • Promote partnership visibility: Actively highlight and give visibility to the platform for our strategic partnerships across all organizational levels : from the Executive Board (Comex) and Digital/Business Units, down to the local technical communities and hands-on developers.

Requirements

  • Solid experience in technical project management, preferably in Data, Cloud, or Software environments.
  • Strong background in Agile methodologies; experience acting as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach is a strong plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to rigorously control costs, scope, and deadlines across multiple concrete workflows (CRM, Documentation, Events).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to animate team rituals, foster collaboration, and break down silos.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (mandatory).
