About your team

The technology service team provides IT services to the Fidelity International business, globally. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin our revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, and marketing and customer service functions. 

About your role
This role works as a project leader,you will be responsible for facilitating governance practices within the team, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and ensure smooth day to day delivery activities are carried out by following processes defined by the project team.This role acts as an overall governance leader for a team with around 30 members, coach,mointor and facilitator to help the team achieve its goals, ensure standards are followed, issues and risks can be identified as early as possible to ensure smoothness in project delivery.

About you

Working with software team that is running in rapid delivery mode,  being able to contribute in below area:
 

  •  Identify and assist team to stick to defined process
  •  Promote best practices and guide the team toward self-organization and accountability.
  •  Work closely with delivery managers, POD leaders, and key stakeholders to ensure clarity on priorities and deliverables.
  •  Track and communicate team performance metrics to improve predictability.
  •  Operational governance to ensure project delivery inline with corporate standards,
  •  Identify risks,issues and work with management team to implementation proper solution
  •  Data and stastic analysis to reflect the actual status and assist the decision making process
  •  Orgnize lesson learnt,knowledge sharing activities to help entire team perform better
  •  Encourage innovation and process improvements within the team.
  •  Maintain adherence to organizational standards and governance frameworks.
     

Qualifications Requried:

  • 5+ years experience with PMO and delivery govenance role
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and best practises.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile project management tools
  • Background in software development or technical delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Essential technical knowledge and experience is a plus.
  • Good business English skill is required, reading,writing,listening,speaking
  • Excellent facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

2nd shift is expected based on project requirement (Canada project, 1:00 PM -10:00 PM, not everyday shift, depends on project arrangement)
