Project Leader (Backend Package R&D)

Role Overview

As a Project Leader, responsible for leading a team of project leaders to ensure successful execution of projects within scope, timeline, cost, and quality requirements. The role focuses on strong project governance, team leadership, and cross-functional coordination to deliver consistent and controlled project outcomes in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do

  • Lead, supervise, and develop a team of project leaders to achieve project goals

  • Define and manage overall project plans in alignment with stakeholders and management

  • Ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and according to agreed targets

  • Monitor project progress, provide clear reporting, and escalate issues when necessary

  • Manage project changes through proper change management processes

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate project risks (technical, cost, schedule, and quality)

  • Build and allocate resources to form an effective and high-performing project team

  • Provide operational guidance, leadership, and conflict resolution within the team

  • Ensure compliance with quality standards, including IATF 16949 requirements

  • Support IATF audits and related preparations

  • Collaborate with Finance on DFPC (Die Free Package Cost) and cost planning

  • Continuously drive improvement, efficiency, and innovation in project execution

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

  • At least 6 + years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing environment

  • Strong project management and leadership experience

  • Knowledge of process engineering and manufacturing workflows

  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving in complex projects

  • Familiarity with quality systems, especially IATF 16949

  • Experience in PFMEA and manufacturing quality tools

  • Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills and ability to work across teams

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

  • Strong leadership mindset: results-driven, proactive, and team-oriented
