In our R&D (Research & Development) Center in Prague we develop Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for intelligent cars.

In our R&D Center in Prague we are looking for an experienced Project FUSA Leader to take ownership of a highly complex ADAS project for a key customer. As a Project FUSA Leader you will be responsible for leading a part of the project at vehicle level. You will oversee system verification, integration, and validation on the vehicle - covering both FUSA and SOTIF aspects.

Your mission is to ensure robust design, smooth delivery of engineering activities, and effective coordination across technical teams, customer interfaces, and suppliers.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

Technical Leadership & Design Ownership

  • Ensure all engineering discipline deliverables meet project expectations

  • Plan, monitor, and control engineering activities following CPM (CLEAN Project Management)

  • Guarantee robust design and validation aligned with project cost targets

  • Analyze and review internal requirements, customer requirements, and technical specifications

  • Evaluate and define acceptance criteria for test cases; guide verification and validation strategy

  • Apply standardization rules; request de-standardization when justified

  • Prepare and lead Engineering Design Reviews
     

FUSA & SOTIF Responsibility 

  • Lead all FUSA-related activities on the vehicle level

  • Drive system verification, integration, and validation (vehicle-level testing)

  • Ensure alignment with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF guidelines

  • Collaborate closely with system engineering, software, testing, and vehicle teams
     

Customer & Supplier Management

  • Act as the key technical interface for FUSA and system topics

  • Represent engineering discipline content towards the customer

  • Build strong relationships with suppliers and coordinate technical deliveries

Scheduling, Budgeting & Resource Planning

  • Create detailed planning of engineering activities and define needed work packages

  • Track progress, spending, risks, and deviations; escalate when needed

  • Contribute to resource planning, tooling, and investment needs
     

People Leadership

  • Functionally lead a multidisciplinary group of engineers and technicians

  • Assign tasks, manage priorities, and ensure alignment with project needs

  • Provide guidance, support problem-solving, and ensure high performance within the team
     

LET'S TALK ABOUT YOU...

  • 8–10+ years of experience in automotive engineering, system engineering, or ADAS projects

  • Strong experience with Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF

  • Proven experience in System engineering, Requirements analysis, System verification & validation, Defining test case criteria and evaluating test results

  • Background in ADAS functions, especially Emergency Braking (AEB) is an advantage

  • Experience working directly with customers and suppliers on complex projects

  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage engineering deliverables

  • Strong organizational and managerial skills
