Job Description:

A. Project Implementation

  • Actively support Project Coordinator and Area Manager in project planning, implementation monitoring and reporting processes relevant to assigned areas.

  • Prepare the guide and / Facilitate project events/training /meeting in the communities as part of the project implementation

  • Ensure timely quality, evidence-based Project implementation and participative

  • Ensure the equal participation of women and man, boy and girls in the project

  • Facilitate technical training in according to the Project Detailed Implementation Plan and project approach

  • Respond timely and actively to the technical training request or planned

  • Develop TOR, deliver technical training and manage the logistics and finance administration of activities in the sector

  • Raise awareness and facilitate critical analysis of community issues and opportunities

  • Ensure that GEDSI situational analysis, Christian commitment, and child protection are mainstreamed within WV initiatives in their assigned communities.

  • Assist the project coordinator in facilitating visioning and planning processes with community members – especially the most vulnerable, and within community-based groups

  • Develop monthly work plans and weekly activity schedule and submit these to the Project Coordinator and communicate with CDO

B.  Building Relationship

  • Endeavoring to witness to Christ through life and connected with the community in the area assign.

  • Build close and constructive relationships and actively learn within partner communities in order to understand their realities and facilitate development processes effectively.

  • Communicate effectively World Vision’s identity, mission, vision, values and our approach to work in ways that are contextually appropriate and clear.

  • Support project coordinator to Undertake social networks analysis in order to Understand the functions various stakeholders fulfill, power dynamics, potential for partnership and capacity building needs.

  • Be responsible for maintaining and strengthening relationships with key partners, especially relevant government institutions (MoH, MoE, DNAS, DHS, MAF, etc.) especially at Sub District Level and below to secure necessary technical resources to support program implementation

  • Ensure that partnerships with other development partners are focused on promoting the well-being of children, especially the most vulnerable.

  • Enable and facilitate networking and connections among local stakeholder groups and between local partners and others outside the area. (Local stakeholders groups may include formal and informal community-based organizations, local churches, other faith-based organizations, businesses, other NGOs and local government agencies).

  • Responsible to represent WVTL in the area assigned

  • Coordinate or participate in any relevant meetings in the area assigned

  • Responsible to organize regular gathering (monthly or quarterly meeting) with relevant partners in the area assign to discuss the progress, plan and issue related to the project as well as other issue related to the child and youth wellbeing

  • Engage with government, churches for sustainability and scaling up

  • Well-arranged donor visit / maintaining relationship with donor by showing impact. Meet their expectation, even go beyond that

C.  Technical Quality Assurance

 

  • Ensure that the project in its respective sector is technically sound both in design and implementation

  • Ensure the farmers and the communities are informed and trained with the recent approach/technologies in the sector.

  • Identify training needs, prepare materials and conduct training for staff and volunteers.

  • Ensure to have clear understanding on the project technical approach or knowledge

Monitoring and Evaluation (DME)

 

  • Ensure the project MVC/HH mapping completed in the early year

  • Ensure +90% of MVC /HH / youth are anticipated in the project activities

  • Assist the Project Coordinator in data collection for project assessments, proposals, budgets, monitoring and evaluation

  • Together with the M&E Officer utilize the monitoring system and tools of project implementation and to capture learning.

  • Support the process of DME (Assessment, Design, Evaluation) in the respective sector in alignment with LEAP standards and associated communities, development partners and other WV Partnership stakeholders

  • Submit monthly reports based on DIP and Monthly Activity Plan.

  • Maintain up to date records of project documents, agreements, reports, photos, assessment and design and evaluations.

  • Quarterly reflection and learning at each basis with specialist involvement.

  • Evidence based intervention (project model standard) for scaling up

  • Track and evaluate the effectiveness of community programs and initiatives.

  • Assist the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Team and Project Coordinator in data collection processes for project monitoring, evaluation and reports.

  • Together with M&E Team utilize the monitoring system and tools of project implementation and to capture learning.

  • Actively support Evidence and Learning team during the data collection period for Assessment, Midterm, End Line and other regular data collection based on M&E Plan

  • Support to Ensure to use digital tools to Upload data to the existing system

 

E. General Responsibilities

  • Attend and participate in weekly chapel services and regular devotional meetings.

  • Assist in humanitarian emergency disaster management

  • Responsible to ensure community feedback channel in function

  • Ensure the partners and communities in assigned area is oriented on safeguarding

Required Professional Experience

  • A minimum of two years of appropriate professional experience, particularly with the youth program

  • Experience facilitating development projects and/or working with community members.

  • Proven leadership ability and experience as a team.

  • Have the minimum knowledge of project technical area

Required Education, training, license, registration and certification

  • University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g. Youth Studies, Community Development, Social Work, Development Studies and other Social Science Studies.

Preferred Knowledge and Skills

  • Good presentation and communication skills for a number of different audiences.

  • Proven time management and organizational skills.

  • Literacy in Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Fluent in Indonesian and Tetum, and preferably in the local dialect in area where you are serving.

  • English language skills (can read, write and understand English).

  • Ability to ride a motorbike and have the license or willingness to learn this

  • Ability to work with online system and adaptable
