About the Opportunity
Amentum is currently supporting TEPCO regarding the decommissioning of the Fukushima Dai-ichi Nuclear Power Plant (1F). The role of the International Decommissioning Team is to build relationships and provide International Good Practice on Engineering to TEPCO.
We are recruiting for a Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of technical projects and liaison between the technical team, client and project stakeholders to ensure timely delivery within budget and schedule.
The role will have flexible hybrid arrangements, but with preference to office working in Tokyo in the short term for team integration and client introductions. Key responsibilities will be:
Assist in the planning and design of engineering and other technical projects.
Coordinate project activities, resources, and information.
Support the production of project related documentation.
Support client meetings and support technical and contractual discussions.
Provide technical support to the engineering teams to resolve issues.
Maintain effective communication with the client and other stakeholders.
Here's What You'll Need
Bachelor’s degree in Nuclear Engineering or a related discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil).
Project engineering experience, preferably in a nuclear power plant or regulated environment.
Communication, problem-solving, and technical writing skills
