The following are required for the role
This position requires at least 3 years of technical/engineering professional experience.
Experience in execution of project phases including inception, design and engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning in an operating plant.
Strong individual accountability and support team, detail-oriented, team player, and safety-first mindset.
Experience leading and communicating with project teams and working with general contractors, ensuring safe systems of work, and monitoring EHS performance.
Exhibits strong personal EHS behaviors with a personal commitment to safety.
Critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive project progress and achieve project deliverables.
The following are preferred for the role
Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar.
Familiarity with project engineering stage-gate workflows and recognized industry standards and practices such as APM or PRINCE2 Certification.
Experience in continuous improvement or White/ Yellow Belt Six Sigma Lean Training.
Strong knowledge of MES, ERP, Automation, and quality systems
Working knowledge of PSM (process safety management) processes and systems.
Work experience in a chemical processing facility and/or polymer/rubber industries.
Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools.
