Project Engineer Digitalization (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Further development of process oriented IT-/digitalization-applications

  • Design of sensor- and digitalization-solutions: data analysis, software architecture, evaluation and processing

  • Project coordination as project manager or project team member

  • Maintenance of process related IT-systems (software, hardware, data)

  • Collaboration with product development and production

  • Building interfaces between production lines and process-data-systems

  • Collaboration in cross-departmental projects within Freudenberg Performance Materials

Qualifications:

  • Completed master's degree in electrical engineering, IT or comparable, also preferably with a doctorate

  • Experience with sensor technology methods (e.g., camera-based inspection, inline measurement technology)

  • Knowledge of big data, AI, and digital methods

  • Expertise in data exchange, programming languages, and network technology

  • Strong communication skills, diplomatic skills, assertiveness

  • Structured and analytical approach to work

  • Business fluent German and English skills
