About the Project
The Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant strengthens Perth’s long-term water supply. The project includes civil, structural and marine works to support new desalination technology. The Civil team builds core site infrastructure that enables major processing facilities. The project focuses on sustainability, innovation and safe delivery.
About the Opportunity
This fixed term role supports the delivery of civil works across a defined scope. You coordinate planning, engineering, procurement, temporary works, scheduling and onsite delivery to meet ASWA requirements. You report to the Senior Project Engineer and work closely with construction, safety, environment and subcontractor teams to drive safe delivery, quality outcomes and clear progress.
Key Accountabilities
- Lead weekly safety and environmental inspections
- Review design and complete accurate quantity take off
- Prepare work packs, RFQs and assess supplier responses
- Develop construction methods and temporary works briefs
- Analyse schedule and identify critical path activities
- Monitor QA, ITPs, NCRs and documentation flow
- Track productivity, cost and forecasting outcomes
Required Skills and Competencies
- Degree in Civil Engineering
- Civil construction delivery experience
- Strong scheduling and QA capability
- Skilled in procurement and cost tracking
- Ability to coordinate safe site activities
