Role Summary:
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for managing aftermarket-related projects primarily for pumps and associated equipment. This role involves close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-specific solutions, ensuring timely execution of projects in line with technical and commercial requirements. You will also be accountable for preparing and managing quotations for pump aftermarket services, supporting order fulfilment, and contributing to continuous improvement in engineering and operational processes.
Responsibilities:
Manage and execute multiple aftermarket projects for pumps and related products across various customers
Prepare, develop, and manage quotations for pump aftermarket services in alignment with customer requirements
Coordinate with engineering teams and obtain customer approvals for drawings and technical submissions
Review technical documentation to ensure product performance meets customer specifications and recommend improvements where necessary
Conduct production planning meetings to align on product requirements, specifications, and delivery timelines with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Production, Quality, Procurement, Product Management)
Support production by providing guidance on specification deviations, waivers, and technical clarifications
Prepare test plans and evaluate test results to ensure compliance with required standards
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with agreed terms and conditions
Drive standardisation and optimisation initiatives across new and existing product lines
Provide operational and engineering support throughout the project lifecycle
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
Years of relevant experience in project engineering, preferably within pumps, rotating equipment, or similar industries
Strong understanding of engineering documentation, drafting principles, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience in industrial product development, design, or aftermarket project execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining a collaborative team approach
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
