What this job involves
- Strategy and Business Leadership: Execute strategic initiatives within your the business line, aligning with JLL's overall objectives and market requirements; drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence while supporting regional transformation plans and technology implementations.
- P&L Management: Assume full P&L responsibility for the business, overseeing the entire business cycle from RFP response to project closeout; ensure timely invoicing, efficient debt collection, and optimal resource deployment to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Talent Pipeline and Capability Management: Proactively develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline across key capabilities, anticipating future business needs. Implement strategic workforce planning, including advance hiring and the option of platform teams to meet projected growth, while adhering to regional compensation and profitability parameters.
- Client and Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders; build and maintain strong relationships, lead project meetings, manage change effectively, and act as the first point of escalation to drive client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Operational Excellence: Proactively identify and mitigate risks across operations; ensure compliance with regulations, industry standards, and JLL policies; maintain rigorous health, safety, and environmental standards; and drive continuous improvement through best practices and technology adoption.
- Corporate Governance and Risk Management: Review bid documentation (RFPs) to identify commercial and contractual risks, collaborating with Head of Operation and Legal team. Lead bid presentations and post-bid actions. Ensure excellence in corporate governance, compliance, and ethics throughout the cluster teams.
- Financial Stewardship: Develop strategic budgets, conduct monthly financial analyses, implement profitability improvement initiatives, and deliver comprehensive quarterly reports to senior leadership, maintaining a proactive approach to financial management and optimization.
- People Management and Development: Lead and develop the team, manage recruitment, performance, career development, and retention strategies; implement upskilling initiatives; and foster a culture of inclusivity, innovation, and work-life balance aligned with JLL's values.
- Project Oversight and Delivery: Provide strategic and technical leadership to project teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects by overseeing scope, resourcing, budget, schedule, quality, safety, and risk management while meeting client expectations and compliance requirements.
- Business Development and Market Positioning: Drive new business acquisition through proposal development, client relationship cultivation, and cross-service line collaboration; represent JLL at industry events and develop targeted marketing strategies to enhance market presence and maintain competitive edge.
- OneJLL Collaboration: Foster a culture of cross-functional cooperation by actively participating in both inbound and outbound lead sharing across JLL's service lines; collaborate seamlessly with other business units to deliver integrated solutions, maximize cross-selling opportunities, and enhance overall client value proposition.
- Ethics and Compliance: Ensure excellence in corporate governance, compliance, and ethics throughout the reporting teams. Oversee the implementation of JLL's standards and policies, maintaining the highest levels of integrity in all business operations.
