We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead a multi-million and multi-year program in EMEA, under a fixed-price contract. This role requires exceptional governance, change management, and financial control expertise to drive delivery at scale while ensuring program profitability. The Project Director will oversee complex multi-stakeholder engagements, including a major System Integrator (SI), a new European cloud provider, and additional strategic partners. This is a high-visibility, mission-critical role requiring strong executive presence, an ability to navigate public sector environments, and proven success leading large-scale transformation programs.

 

Your Day to Day: 

• Strategic Account Leadership: Act as the senior single point of accountability for all delivery activities within the account, ensuring activations are executed on time, on budget, and aligned with the client’s scoped business objectives.
• Project and Program Governance: Define and lead the governance structure for the account, facilitating steering committee meetings and regular business reviews with senior client and internal stakeholders.
• Consultative Partnership: Drive end-to-end delivery by partnering with Revenue and Product teams to navigate complex challenges and implement high-impact tactical and strategic solutions.
• Dedicated Team Development: Directly manage and mentor a high-performing team of Project Managers dedicated to this account, fostering a culture of "client-first" excellence.
• Operational Mastery: Own and define account-specific KPIs, including capacity planning, resource utilization, and long-term delivery forecasting to support the client's multi-year roadmap.
• Escalation Management: Serve as the final point of contact for senior-level escalations, navigating complex negotiations with "Grit and Grace" to maintain a healthy partnership.
• Innovation & Best Practices: Translate the client’s unique needs into repeatable delivery models, influencing Feedzai’s global product roadmap based on the account's frontier requirements.

 

You Have & You Know-how: 

• 15+ years of program/project management experience with at least 5 years leading enterprise transformation programs in enterprise software or government sectors.
• Proven track record managing fixed-price, high-risk contracts with full financial accountability.
• Strong background in governance frameworks, PMO structures, and change management methodologies.
• Demonstrated success managing multi-partner ecosystems, including global SIs, cloud providers, and subcontractors.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presence to influence at CxO and government levels.
• Client Empathy & Strategic Partnership: demonstrated ability to understand complex client environments, internal pressures, and corporate cultures. Capable of making decisions aligned with long-term client success and sustainable value creation.
• Crisis Leadership & Stability: ability to maintain calm, clarity, and sound judgment during high-pressure deployments, escalations, and executive-level discussions. Act as a stabilizing force during critical phases of delivery.
• Experience working with cloud transformation, AI/ML, or fintech/government technology programs
• Deep understanding of European public sector program delivery requirements (compliance, security, data sovereignty)
• Certification in one of the following: PMP, PgMP, PfMP, MSP,  IPMA Certified Level B/A, Prince2 MoP or Postgraduate degree (eg. MBA, Masters in Management, etc)
• English required; additional European languages (German, French, Portuguese, Spanish) strongly preferred. 

Nice to Have:

• Specific experience with the client’s existing technology stack or regional EMEA regulatory requirements.
• SAFe Practitioner
• Deep knowledge of payments fraud, real-time systems;
• Demonstrated experience in the Banking Ecosystem and Fraud Management. Domain-specific certifications (e.g., Risk Management) are preferred.
