Job Description:
ORT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Project Manager to support a large-scale, long-term operational initiative. This role will play a critical part in coordinating vendors, managing logistics, and ensuring seamless execution across multiple moving parts. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a high-impact project that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage a large network of stakeholders.
Employment Type: Contract (through end of 2027)
Locations: Akron, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Tampa, FL
Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and manage relationships with multiple vendors and contractors
Track project timelines, deliverables, and vendor performance
Serve as a central point of contact across internal teams and external partners
Foster open communication across internal teams, vendors, and external partners
Anticipate operational needs and address challenges in a timely and effective manner
Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, internal departments, and stakeholders, resolving issues and ensuring alignment
Manage and coordinate multiple vendors and contractors, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope
Identify alternative approaches to problem-solving and troubleshoot operational challenges
Monitor, review, and manage submissions or approvals in accordance with company protocols
Track project progress, ensuring deadlines and key milestones are met
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution of projects
Communicate updates, changes, and project needs clearly to all stakeholders
Support large-scale operational initiatives involving multiple moving parts and teams
Ensure a high level of customer service and responsiveness across all interactions
Prepare reports, updates, and project documentation as required
Fully execute and deliver on assigned projects and initiatives
Stay current with tools, systems, and best practices to improve efficiency and execution
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in vendor management and/or project coordination, operations
Experience coordinating office moves, facilities, or large operational projects preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or project management tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting large, multi-phase projects with multiple vendors
