Job Description:

ORT is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Contract Project Manager to support a large-scale, long-term operational initiative. This role will play a critical part in coordinating vendors, managing logistics, and ensuring seamless execution across multiple moving parts. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a high-impact project that requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to manage a large network of stakeholders.

Employment Type: Contract (through end of 2027)

Locations: Akron, OH; Pittsburgh, PA; Tampa, FL
Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage relationships with multiple vendors and contractors

  • Track project timelines, deliverables, and vendor performance

  • Serve as a central point of contact across internal teams and external partners

  • Foster open communication across internal teams, vendors, and external partners

  • Anticipate operational needs and address challenges in a timely and effective manner

  • Serve as a key point of contact for vendors, internal departments, and stakeholders, resolving issues and ensuring alignment

  • Manage and coordinate multiple vendors and contractors, ensuring deliverables are met on time and within scope

  • Identify alternative approaches to problem-solving and troubleshoot operational challenges

  • Monitor, review, and manage submissions or approvals in accordance with company protocols

  • Track project progress, ensuring deadlines and key milestones are met

  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure smooth execution of projects

  • Communicate updates, changes, and project needs clearly to all stakeholders

  • Support large-scale operational initiatives involving multiple moving parts and teams

  • Ensure a high level of customer service and responsiveness across all interactions

  • Prepare reports, updates, and project documentation as required

  • Fully execute and deliver on assigned projects and initiatives

  • Stay current with tools, systems, and best practices to improve efficiency and execution

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in vendor management and/or project coordination, operations

  • Experience coordinating office moves, facilities, or large operational projects preferred

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or project management tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large, multi-phase projects with multiple vendors
