Job Description

Make an impact with WGU

As WGU expands its national headquarters in downtown Salt Lake City, this role supports a once‑in‑a‑generation, multi‑year real estate development program. You will help ensure our multi‑phase, 1 million square‑foot project progresses smoothly toward an anticipated 2030 first-phase move‑in. What you’ll do

  • Coordinate strategic deliverables and track follow‑up items to ensure timely completion
  • Maintain accuracy of project management tools, including AtTask
  • Meet project deadlines and escalate project risks when appropriate
  • Manage vendor and consultant contract execution timelines
  • Lead and support project tracking, milestone management, data analysis, and project communications
  • Organize inputs from development partners to confirm deliverables and timelines
  • Document decisions, task assignments, and approvals in project management systems
  • Review, resolve, or redirect items received through the COS feedback system
  • Partner across teams to complete ad hoc requests with creativity and efficiency
  • Coordinate department events, including meeting logistics, catering, and travel arrangements for annual training
  • Complete other duties as assigned

What you’ll bring

  • Ability to work with confidential information with sound judgment and discretion
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize work across multiple concurrent deadlines
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and provide empathetic support when approached for help
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience creating presentations and spreadsheets
  • Ability to evaluate data, synthesize insights, and identify trends

  • Experience supporting real estate, development, construction, or capital projects

  • Experience responding to correspondence or managing communication workflows
  • Demonstrated success working in operational or project coordination roles

This is a full-time, in-office position at WGU’s office in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Position & Application Details
