The Role

As a member of the Partner Program team, you will assist in the coordination of projects managed from the Global Partner Program Office. You will have a direct impact on the success of the Partner Program, by aligning the appropriate resources to build and deliver global and local projects. All projects will be initiated by or impact the partner organization, supporting partner sales initiatives. You must have a clear understanding of best practices as they relate to:

  • Selling with and to partners.
  • Channel and partner demand generation.
  • Project coordination and key elements of associated administration.

Your ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment will be fundamental to the role. You must also be able to build strong relationships with individuals and teams, at all levels, across Hitachi Vantara, enabling you to influence and increase the likelihood of positive outcomes for the projects you coordinate.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Creating, hosting, coordinating, and supporting multiple online partner-related events, including internal and external webinars.
  • Video editing, production, and publishing for online partner-related events.
  • Supporting in-person partner events, initiated by the Partner Program team.
  • Managing the full procurement process, in conjunction with the Global Procurement team, for all Partner Program team purchasing.
  • Creating regular Partner Program communications, in conjunction with the marketing communications group, to both internal and partner audiences.
  • Building, managing and delivering Partner Program content/pages/sections on internal platforms, including SharePoint, and external platforms, including our Partner Portal (Partner Connect).
  • Managing multi-language translations of Partner Program content, including videos, working with our translation provider, Smartcat.
  • Managing and maintaining our partner community membership programs, including communications.
  • Managing the partner Not-for-Resale licensing process.
  • Supporting other Partner Program initiatives on a tactical basis.

What You Will Bring To The Team

  • 10+ years supporting a channel and/or partner operations environment with a solid understanding of the indirect selling model.
  • Strong business process expertise.
  • Strong background working with multiple business disciplines, managing projects against tight deadlines.
  • The ability to work both as a member of a dispersed team and independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, enabling you to clearly articulate expectations, both verbally and in writing.
  • Project Management skills, ensuring multiple, parallel initiatives are delivered on schedule, aligned with our goals and deliverables.
  • Extensive experience using software for video editing, project management, content management, and finance/procurement. Ideally, this will include (or be similar to) Microsoft 365, Camtasia, Adobe Experience Manager, ServiceNow, and Oracle.
  • In-depth analysis skills, to provide comprehensive reports on completed projects and recommendations for future success.

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts, the expected base salary for this position is: $120K to $127K
The expected on-target earnings for this position is: $136K to $145K

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
