What you’ll be doing 

As a Business Analyst Co-Op, you will use your analytical skills to support the team in conducting analysis that will help process improvements. You will provide application or technical expertise as needed for projects and initiatives. Join our team and stretch your communications and evaluation skills to help enhance the banking experience for the modern world.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

Important information

  • You are enrolled in a degree in Business/Commerce, Finance, Economics, or a related field at the time of the work term with a graduation date of December 2026 or later.

  • Understanding Requirements - Work closely with Business Partners to guide formulation of complex business requirements and solution design discussions to meet project needs.

  • Project Management – Be part of complex projects to design strategic solutions aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap.

Business Analyst

What you’ll be doing

CIBC’s Technology, Infrastructure & Innovation team is hiring for Business Analyst Co-Ops! As a Business Analyst, you will use your communication, content creation and coordination skills to support the team in different projects, identify areas of opportunity and conduct analysis that will help process improvements. Join our team and stretch your communications and evaluation skills to help enhance the banking experience for the modern world. You will help synthesize technology and assist with improvements across channels, products, multiple businesses for CIBC employees, ultimately helping further define strategy.

  • Enable new opportunities: Assess market and emerging trends and opportunities for improved experiences.
