In this role, you will monitor, analyze, and report on the cost and schedule performance of multiple complex and multi-disciplined major projects, closely collaborating with the project manager, project team, project scheduler, and field controls analyst. This includes ensuring that costs for assigned projects are estimated, accounted for, and reported in an accurate and timely manner and in accordance with the Company’s established business practices and procedures. What You Will Do:
Analyze and maintain the project costs at the WBS level including control budget, incurred costs, commitments, and forecast.
Prepare timely and accurate reports and presentations for and provide support to project management and stakeholders regarding the cost status of their respective project budgets.
Perform earned value measurements to identify trends; communicate analysis and recommendations to project management.
Perform monthly project close process, inclusive of accruals, and prepare monthly project reports.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to collect inputs for project estimates and forecast updates as needed.
Prepare and document project change orders timely in accordance with Project Management Office standards.
Engage the Project Manager and stakeholders in meetings and discussions to review and reforecast project costs.
Who You Are:
University degree, diploma or related construction or engineering experience.
6 or more years of progressive experience in project costing and construction project costing. Note equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Effective communication both verbally and in written form. This includes the ability to work well with peers, internal and external partners.
Ability to articulate technical information in detail to users that may or may not have technical knowledge.
High proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI. Preferred: PMP designation, Earned Value Management training, Power BI development experience.
