Job Description

This role is an individual contributor position that provides technical and operational expertise in managing critical initiatives and vendor relationships in both corporate and government processing. The role is responsible for supporting operations groups including government lockbox services, overseeing third-party vendors, and assisting with onboarding new government programs through agencies or vendor partnerships.

As a key contributor, you will drive process optimization, ensure compliance, and establish scalable workflows for new and existing clients. This position is designed to strengthen the team’s capabilities and enhance collaboration between internal stakeholders and external partners. The ideal candidate will thrive in an evolving environment, bringing strong project management skills, operational insight, and the ability to build effective relationships across multiple functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize processes for lockbox and related operations as new clients are onboarded
  • Oversee vendor relationships
  • Collaborate with sales and relationship teams to support onboarding of new government work
  • Document processes and identify efficiency opportunities
  • Build reporting and tracking for vendor and internal services, depending on skill set
  • Interact with internal teams and external clients and vendors to ensure smooth operations and compliance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Eight to ten years of experience in project management activities

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive knowledge of assigned project area
  • Well-developed organizational and analytical skills
  • Thorough knowledge of project management principles
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and analyze data
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Experience in Treasury, Fiscal Service, or other government agencies
  • Program management experience is a plus
  • Ability to work in an unstructured, evolving environment and help establish new processes
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude for understanding and improving operational applications

Location expectations 
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $117,725.00 - $138,500.00
