Key Responsibilities:

Reports to: Field Coordinator

Key Result Areas:

  • Mobilize manageable numbers of beneficiaries for CBT enrollment and distributions, quarterly verification and Monthly General Food Distribution.

  • Admit and verify beneficiaries during food distribution.

  • Verify beneficiaries during quarterly verification of beneficiaries on Agent banking and Mobile money.

  • Participate in data entry in World Vision and WFP corporate systems.

  • Participate in mainstreaming Accountability to the Affected Persons (AAP) across all WFP activities

  • Compile and share quarterly verification reports for CBT beneficiaries.

  • Compile and share monthly distribution reports for beneficiaries on Food assistance

  • Work closely with the IT Officer to download manifests and set up servers before start of distributions.

  • Support in the monitoring of agent cash out points.

  • Mobilize retailers for bi-annual WFP targeting and monitoring assessment (MFI and RPME)

  • Organize the identified retailers into groups, support groups to establish leadership and governance.

  • Compile and share distribution and quarterly CBT verification schedules.

  • Support project trainings for beneficiaries (retailers)

  • Follow up on retailer performance and support in Retailer Performance Monitoring and Evaluation (RPME)

  • Assist retailer groups to create and manage VSLAs and SACCOs to enable sustainable access to credit.

  • Support in linking VSLAs and SACCOs to formal financial service providers (FSPs) for sustainable credit options and digitalization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • A bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Agriculture, Nutrition, Food science, Social Sciences, or any other related discipline from a reputable institution.
  • At least 2 years of Demonstrated experience in participatory, community-driven facilitation skills and experience in data management with a reputable organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to design/formulate monitoring tools.
  • Humanitarian Protection and Accountability Partnership training
  • Do No Harm in AID management training.
  • First Aid training, World Vision Uganda.
