STV is seeking a talented, detail-oriented Project Architect to join our Architecture practice in the Boston, MA office. This role is ideal for a technically strong architect who thrives on solving complex building envelope challenges and delivering high-quality design and documentation for significant building projects. Experience in transportation, science/technology and health-care related projects a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of construction documents for building projects, with a focus on high-performance exterior envelope system design and detailing.
Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Engineers, and Senior Architects to ensure coordinated, constructible solutions from concept through construction.
Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and participate in site visits to verify that work meets design intent and technical standards.
Support the project team in code compliance, material selection, and integration of sustainable design strategies where applicable.
Assist in mentoring junior architectural staff and contribute to a collaborative studio environment.
Engage with clients and stakeholders as needed to communicate technical solutions clearly and confidently.
Qualifications:
Professional degree in Architecture.
Licensed Architect, State of Massachusetts preferred.
Minimum 5 – 7 years of experience as a practicing architect, including significant responsibility for overall building design and detailing.
Solid working knowledge of building codes, exterior envelope systems, and constructability best practices.
Proficiency with Revit/BIM workflows and industry-standard design tools required.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Compensation Range:
