Project Analyst (Software Development), #997
Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required. Ability to obtain the required government security clearance (CBP Final).
This is a hybrid position with 1-2 days per week onsite in Ashburn, Virginia.
Dev Technology Group is hiring a Project Analyst to serve on the leadership team of the company’s largest contract. The successful candidate will understand the software development process, have a high degree of flexibility and the desire to contribute to a wide variety of tasks, and be willing to learn new tools, processes and business domains. This is a highly collaborative role, working with the Program Manager, Operations Manager and Delivery Leads.
What You'll Be Doing: This role will update project plans, create dashboards, run reports, set up interviews, provide quality checks, generate statistics to help manage the teams. You may also contribute to the financial management support.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of applicable work experience
- Experience working on a software development project
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Demonstrated understanding of project management tasks
- Demonstrated experience gathering and analyzing information
- Interest in identifying and implementing process improvements
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to professionally communicate with all levels of client, technical and back-office personnel verbally and in writing
- Excellent relationship building capability – ability to apply logical thinking and diplomacy to resolve complex issues with a mutually beneficial result
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment which requires multi-tasking, organization and attention to detail in order to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Prior experience as a project analyst on a software development project
- Prior experience working for the federal government
