Deutsche Bank

Project Analyst (f/m/x) – Chief Security Office

Berlin Otto-Suhr-Allee 16 Full time

Job Description:

About the job

Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin / Frankfurt
DB Technology is a global team of tech specialists, spread across multiple trading hubs and tech centres. We have a strong focus on promoting technical excellence – our teams work at the forefront of financial services innovation using cutting‑edge technologies.

Chief Security Office (CSO)
The Chief Security Office protects Deutsche Bank against information and physical security risks. CSO drives the Bank’s information security strategy and ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of Deutsche Bank’s information assets across a global technology landscape.

Within the Chief Security Office (CSO), Identity & Access Management (IAM) is a core security capability responsible for ensuring that access to Deutsche Bank’s systems, applications, and data is appropriately controlled, monitored, and governed throughout the user and service lifecycle. IAM initiatives focus on reducing security risk, enforcing least‑privilege access, and meeting regulatory and audit expectations across the Bank.

Secrets Management is a key component of IAM, addressing the secure handling of non‑human credentials such as passwords, API keys, certificates, and service accounts. Secrets Management initiatives aim to improve confidentiality, integrity, and availability by introducing standardized lifecycle management, inventory, monitoring, and control mechanisms for secrets used across on‑premise, cloud, and application environments. These initiatives are critical to reducing operational risk and strengthening the Bank’s security posture.

As a Project Analyst (f/m/x), you will be supporting the delivery of security‑related projects and initiatives by providing structured analysis, reporting, and governance support within a regulated, global environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain project status reports, dashboards, and management information covering delivery progress, risks, issues, and dependencies, with a focus on security‑related initiatives.
  • Support the maintenance of project plans, milestones, and delivery trackers, monitoring progress against agreed baselines and highlighting variances.
  • Maintain and track project risks, issues, actions, and dependencies (RAID), ensuring alignment with CSO governance and Information Security control requirements.
  • Support project governance forums by preparing materials, documenting decisions, and tracking follow‑up actions in line with audit and regulatory expectations.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, CSO delivery teams, and stakeholders across Technology, Risk, and Business functions to support effective communication and execution.

Your skills and experiences

  • Degree or equivalent experience in business, technology, information security, or a related discipline, with exposure to project or change delivery in a regulated environment.
  • Working knowledge of project management methodologies and lifecycle phases, ideally within security, risk, or control‑focused environments.
  • Understanding of information security principles, risk management concepts, and control frameworks relevant to CSO initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to interpret delivery and risk data and present clear, structured insights.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global, matrix organisation.
