Project Administrator
This role is responsible for supporting the Project Management Team coordinating the order processing, manufacture, and delivery of contracts. This role will work closely with the Project Managers and/or Programme Leads for this business workstream.
Location: Wimborne, UK
Hours: Full time or part time hours available. Flexible (flexitime) working pattern, minimum 32-hours per week, with opportunity for full time hours.
Your Challenge:
Completing all tasks allocated and agreed by the Programme Lead
Loading of sales orders and invoice processing on ERP system (training will be provided)
Liaising with Production to check stock inventories for current and anticipated orders to minimise lead times on product where possible
Generation of Material Request forms for product build and proactive chasing through Production
Preparation of shipping paperwork and liaison with dispatch to ensure that goods are packed and ready to ship
Preparation of Lifetime Quality Record packs where contracts dictate
Providing status updates to line management in line with monthly forecasting drumbeat
Liaising with Customers to ensure invoicing and delivery requirements are met
Liaising with sub-contracts for timely and accurate supply of information
Continuous Improvement specific to role
What You Bring:
Security contractual compliance will require incumbents must be a sole British National
Good commercial awareness
Experience of reviewing contracts to ensure that customer requirements can be met
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities and make decisions
Ability to manage and analyse metrics
Good oral and written communication
Use of Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Project)
Familiarity with ERP Systems
Desired Skills:
Appreciation of shipping incoterms and trade tariff harmonisation codes for international shipments
Awareness of ISO 9001:2015 standard
