Programs Field Representative I

Overview: This position serves as a representative of the central agency, working closely with providers and local offices to plan, develop, and monitor treatment services for youth and families with complex mental health and behavioral needs. The role ensures compliance with agency and DMHSAS standards while promoting consistent interpretation and application of policies across program areas. Key responsibilities include providing technical assistance, conducting regular site visits, and performing on-site reviews to assess service quality, staff performance, and adherence to best practice guidelines. The position supports implementation of High-Fidelity Wraparound, System of Care values, and data-driven service delivery, while continuously analyzing and refining site-based technical assistance plans. This position is responsible for training providers in Wraparound services and a range of Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs), as well as emerging trends in the field.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree and three years of professional experience in social work, child support, adult protective services, child welfare, early childhood development and education, guidance and counseling, nursing, intellectual disability, probation and parole, public administration, community-based prevention and diversionary youth services programs, juvenile justice, rehabilitation counseling, vocational evaluation or vocational rehabilitation,
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of additional qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
