Position Summary
As a Programming Manager, you will lead programming activities across multiple studies, ensuring high-quality data analysis outputs that support clinical trials and regulatory submissions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, oversee outsourced tasks, and contribute to the development of data standards. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
- Plan, manage, and execute programming activities across multiple studies to deliver analysis outputs, including datasets, tables, figures, and listings.
- Oversee outsourced tasks to third-party vendors, ensuring timelines, quality, and budget requirements are met.
- Define, develop, and implement data standards within therapeutic areas in alignment with industry standards.
- Act as the key programming contact for study stakeholders, providing solutions to complex challenges.
- Review and contribute to key project documents, such as submission materials, clinical reports, and publications.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering their professional growth and development.
Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biotechnology, Computer Applications, or related disciplines.
- At least 5 years of experience in statistical programming, including SAS programming and SAS macro development.
- Strong expertise in CDISC standards and their application.
- Proven track record of leading studies and projects in a clinical trial setting.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks across different projects.
Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
- MSc or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Knowledge of additional programming languages or tools, such as R, Python, or Spotfire.
- Experience with outsourcing statistical programming work to CROs or academic institutions.
- Advanced expertise in end-to-end clinical trial processes and regulatory publishing requirements.
- Experience mentoring and supervising junior programmers.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical regulatory guidelines, such as 21 CFR Part 11.
