The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position. The applicant must possess keen interest and passion to further his/her career by acquiring technical knowledge in the Banking and Payment application domain. This means getting actively involved in development work related to Customer Demographics, Debit Card Processor, Checking and Savings, Loans, Payments, Customer Statements and Advices,…, etc.

0-2 years of relevant experience
The work products developed will be running in the IBM mainframe environment. Minimally prior knowledge in at least 1 of the following programming languages is required (COBOL, Java).
This role requires close collaboration with solution lead, senior application development analyst, technical InfoSec officer in translating the design into functional code. The scope of work includes understanding of the business requirement, application solutioning and design, InfoSec implications, user story ownership, quality and on time application deliveries (development, testing and implementation). This role will be appropriately guided by the senior programmer analysts from time to time to ensure the work products would be delivered on time and with quality.
Experience in programming/debugging used in business applications
Working knowledge of industry practice and standards
Comprehensive knowledge of specific business area for application development
Working knowledge of program languages
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
