Role overview – Service Sales and Project Ownership:

The RELEX team in Scandinavia is looking for a Programme Manager whose main responsibilities will be owning and guiding a portfolio of software implementation projects as Project Owner and being Operations Lead in the Sales cycle securing the services sales side of the case.
As a Programme Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the RELEX software by estimating implementation proposal, negotiate commercial agreement and establish SOW, building customer relationships, setting out the project strategy, negotiating escalations regarding scope, resource and commercials, and ensuring projects meet the KPI expectations of both RELEX and the customer. 

This is an ideal role for an entrepreneurial-minded individual who wants to be part of building a success story and to play a key role in our future growth. You are self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges. Travel will be required to visit customers on a regular basis or occasionally to meet with the RELEX teams in our other offices.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

Owning the Services Sales side as Operations Lead in Sales Cycle

    • Supporting sales on internal coordination of operation experts
    • Estimating and presenting implementation proposals for customers
    • Establish SOW and negotiate commercial terms for implementation
    • Align with partners if relevant for implementations and help position them as implementation option
  1. Leading the implementation strategy of a portfolio of projects. Participating in consultancy, and software implementation projects. Tasks include:
    • Accountable for project profitability and reporting
    • Accountable for the project plan with the project team
    • Responsible for creating and maintaining customer relationships with key stakeholders
    • Accountable for project scope and project commercials
    • Acting as an escalation point for key decisions or bottlenecks from the project team
  2. Developing internal processes to secure stronger governance across the region
    • Help grow are region by improving how we collaborate and work across internal business units and together with customers and partners

Key requirements:

  • Experience leading multiple successful IT system implementations within large Retail IT landscapes
  • Experience of senior positions on governance or steering committees
  • Experience managing a complex network of internal and external senior stakeholders
  • Experience presenting, consulting and influencing/guiding senior audiences on change management practices
  • Effective leadership, relationship management, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to interact confidently with customer stakeholders, influence and negotiate
  • Strong risk analysis and risk management plans; proactively mitigating risk, and steering the strategic direction of projects appropriately

What we consider a strong plus:

  • Entrepreneurial attitude with interest towards growing the business
  • Supply Chain Industry knowledge
  • Experience with a grocery / CPG / FMCG retailer or supplier
  • Ability to understand Supply Chain & Merchandising systems from both business and IT perspectives
  • Experience in commercial negotiation for Professional Services
  • Any Project Management qualifications
