Develops, coordinates, and monitors procedures to ensure compliance with accreditation, licensing, Medicaid, certification, and contractual standards for programs at assigned location.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
Participates in the development, coordination, and monitoring of procedures to ensure Site compliance.
Coordinates, oversees, and monitors the development of quality assurance systems and activities.
Prepares Site-specific protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and coordinates the review and approval process.
Provides updates and training to staff on new regulatory, contractual, and accreditation standards and ensures new standards are incorporated into current quality assurance activities.
Assists in the coordination of activities and awareness of staff engaged in preparation for licensing, contractual, certification, and accreditation audits.
Provides program and facility reviews to judge and make recommendations for ongoing compliance, increasing internal reviews as needed to ensure compliance.
Coordinates and assists with development of compliance systems for financial and personnel areas.
Follows up on areas of non-compliance and assists with recommendations and implementation for appropriate changes.
Maintains regulatory, contractual, certification, and accreditation information and materials.
Provides leadership and assistance to continuous quality improvement committees and a reporting mechanism of committee findings and recommendations to Site management team.
Conducts data analysis and prepares reports.
Collaborates with administrative staff in setting and achieving Site goals, strategic planning, and delivery of training.
Maintains a pulse on political arena and legislative trends, with the potential to effect programs.
Assists with preparation, negotiation, and management of Site contracts and grants.
Checks with contract agencies and websites for the availability of new or continued funding for program maintenance or growth. Assists with grant contract negotiations and presentation preparation, pulling of information specific to proposal development.
Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFP's) for Site fit and summarizes review.
Provides assistance in the development of a Pro Forma as required or needed to help determine strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
Provides coordination and leadership on proposal development and submission to the funding source in a timely manner, meeting RFP requirements for development and submission.
Cultivates relationships and partnerships with funding sources; attends meetings held by contracting or grant agencies.
Develops and maintains a systematic process for the oversight and administration of site program contracts, grants, and other purchase of service agreements for site programs; develops and submits performance outcomes as required.
Prepares and submits licensing applications and renewals to ensure regulatory compliance including accreditation, licensing, and contractual requirements.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge of the Boys Town Model and the ability to explain the program to individuals and other agencies.
Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and with external contacts in an articulate, professional manner while maintaining necessary degree of confidentiality.
High level of professionalism and interpersonal skills. Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements pertaining to youth care.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum 3 years of experience including coordinating and managing human services activities required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, related field preferred.
