Collins Aerospace is seeking a Program Scheduler to join our Engineering Business Office supporting the Electric Power Systems segment. This role is ideal for someone with Microsoft Project experience, strong collaboration skills, and a willingness to learn. 

You will develop, maintain, and analyze the Program Master Schedule and Integrated Master Plan/Integrated Master Schedule, ensuring accuracy, proper workflow, and alignment with program objectives. You will perform schedule analysis, track trends and metrics, and work closely with CAMS to coordinate activities and support program execution. Depending on project size, you may assist a lead scheduler or manage smaller efforts independently. 

We’re looking for a proactive, collaborative candidate eager to grow their scheduling expertise while making an impact on high-priority programs. 

What You Will Do 

  • Support or lead the development and maintenance of the program Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) using Microsoft Project (desktop and server). 

  • Develop and maintain a detailed IMS throughout the program lifecycle, incorporating contractual and programmatic changes to maintain realistic, current schedule baselines. 

  • Ensure the IMS meets government customer requirements and aligns with program objectives at all phases. 

  • Reconcile the IMS with target budgets to demonstrate thorough cost and schedule integration. 

  • Conduct detailed analysis of the IMS and supporting documents to ensure quality, completeness, and compliance. 

  • Communicate schedule status, including critical path results, schedule variance, and “what-if” analyses, to the Planning Lead, Program Manager, customers, and senior management. 

  • Support EAC (Estimate at Completion) and LRE (Latest Revised Estimate) processes as they relate to the program IMS. 

  • Assist in developing and maintaining the Program Master Schedule using program templates. 

Qualifications You Must Have 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field 

 

Qualifications We Prefer 

  • Prior experience analyzing schedule data, including driving paths, schedule metrics and trends, and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA). 

  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite. 

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interface and influence at all levels of an organization. 

  • Familiarity with SAP, EVMS for Project, COBRA, or similar EVMS software applications.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
